BAZOOKAED!
“POET BAZOOKAED ON W. 4TH STREET!” is an autobiographical one-man play about street performing, performed in various venues over the years. Its title is taken from one of the stories in the Bowery Poetry Books anthology of Poez writings, The Poetry Dollars. A 2007 production at the Bowery Poetry Club expanded the anthology into an improvisational drama that included the return of Poez to New York and inspired a NEW YORK TIMES feature by one of those in the audience, Pulitzer-Prize winning writer Jim Dwyer, A Lawyer, A Poet, and a Love Rekindled. These videos were taken during that Bowery Poetry Club production.
